Is Crew Spoiled?

A couple weeks ago, we were having a Saturday cleaning day.  We were all working really hard and Crew was being a little fussy.  I decided to put him in his saucer watching Baby Einstein on DVD.  I think he is a little spoiled.  What do you think???
P.S.  He loves Baby Einstein now.

TGIF

This week has been really crazy since I got home from LA.  I don't think I have had a spare second to breath or even just veg and watch T.V. until last night.  I laid on the couch all night and just watched T.V. and relaxed.  Hopefully we can have a great weekend.  I will try to take some sort of picture to post.  Thanks for checking in on us.

You Know You Are In LA If...

Wicked!  Grandma Char, Me, Mom, & Megan
Crew, the perfect traveler!
We decided to go on a little walk one morning.  We ended up at a Home Depot.   It was a little weird and strange to find a McDonald's in the Home Depot, but we were happy because we were hungry for breakfast.
The two perfect babysitters at dinner, my sister Megan and her husband Todd.
The Hooter Hider sure came in handy on this vacation.  My breast friend Crew accompanied me on this trip.  This is us waiting for our airplane in the Salt Lake Airport.
Jocelyn, Crew, and Me on the airplane.
You Know You Are in LA if...
-you consume 4000 calories in one dinner
-you shop till you drop
-you are stuck in traffic for one hour to drive 5 miles
-there is a McDonald's in Home Depot
-your apartment neighbor asks how so many people can fit in one apartment
-when two woman make out openly in the loading area at the airport
and the list could go on and on
My trip to LA was so much fun.  Crew was the perfect traveling companion.  We dragged him everywhere and he was a trooper.  He took his naps in his car seat and stroller most days and went along with anything.  Wicked was absolutely amazing.  I loved every second of the show.  It was so funny.  I would definitely recommend it!  It was fabulous and definitely worth the trip to LA.   Thanks to my brother-in-law Todd for watching Crew during Wicked.  It was a great trip. Eating & Shopping pretty much filled our 3 days in LA.  We also found a few spare hours for a couple card games.
Restaurants we ate at...
-PF Chang
-In & Out
-California Pizza Kitchen
-Maggiano's
-Pink Berry

We went to 3 malls and shopped till we dropped.  My shopping pretty much consisted of Forever 21.  It fit right in to my budget.  What a great trip.  I love LA.

P.S.  Grandma, I can't wait till San Diego for a May I and Heck rematch!
My mom also has cute pictures of our trip on her blog.  Check it out!

Crew Rolls Over...

This is mostly for my journaling.  Crew rolled over from his stomach to his back for the first time today.  He is trying to roll from his back to his stomach, but hasn't quite figured it out.

Crew Is 5 Months Old...

Crew is 5 months old.  I can not believe it.  The past 5 months have gone by so fast.   I know that I say the same thing every post, but it is really how I feel.  I love having Crew around.  He has been such a fun baby.  He is such a good baby and so fun to have around!  Here are some of his milestones the last month
-He has found his toes and loves to grab them.  He even sucks on his toes sometimes.
-He is now having rice cereal in his bottle.
-He is now grabbing for anything he can reach.
-He is laughing a lot.
-He is very ticklish.
-He can turn himself in a circle in his crib and turn on his music thing by kicking it with his foot.
-Lays on the ground and turns in a circle.  Trying to learn to roll over.
-Wears size 3 diapers.
-Is growing out of 3-6 month clothes.
-Still loves his bath.
-Loves his binkie.
-Loves his blankets.
-Loves his bed.
-Loves his car seat.
We love you Crew!

Movie Night...

Friday night the boys wanted to have a movie night before bed.  Greg and I decided to watch Dan in Real Life and when we came upstairs after it was over, this is how we found the boys.
Some how the popcorn bowl ended up on Cannon's head while he was sleeping.  We were cracking up!

Recipe of the week...

I saw this recipe on Good Things Utah and have wanted to try it...

Fabulous Chicken Fajita Bake
4 boneless skinless chicken breast
1 green bell pepper sliced thinly
1 red bell pepper sliced thinly
1 large yellow onion sliced thinly
8-8 inch flour tortillas
4 Tbs. McCormick Mesquite Grilling Mates Seasoning
2 Tbs. real butter
1 lb. shredded Monterey Jack Cheese (divided)
1 can Campbell's Cheddar Cheese Soup
2 cups Salsa
sour cream
Avocados
Fresh Jalapeno slices

Place chicken breasts in large zip lock baggie with Mesquite Seasoning and let marinate for 2 hours.  No more than 4 hours.  Grill chicken.  Slice chicken thinly and set aside.  Saute' peppers and onions in butter and soy sauce until tender.  (As odd as it is the soy sauce is what makes these very tasty.)  In medium bowl, mix together cheddar cheese soup and salsa.  Pour one cup of the mixture over a 9x13 pan, spreading evenly.  Roll equal amounts of chicken, 1/2 lb. of Monterey Jack cheese, peppers and onion in the 8 tortillas and place in a baking dish.  Pour over the remaining soup/salsa mixture and top with remaining cheese.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes and uncovered for 10 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted.  Serve with sour cream, avocado, and Jalapenos if desired.

Back on Track...

The last few weeks have been pretty rough for me.  I have been suffering from some major migraines.  Today, I finally woke up without a headache and without having to take any medicine.  Yea.  I was able to get caught up on house work. laundry, cuddling with Crew, playgroup, temple recommend interview, and just loving feeling good again.  So hopefully I will be back to the blogging world with some fun post in the next couple weeks.

Family Pictures...

We had family pictures taken a couple weeks ago and I have been dying to see a sneak peek from the photo shoot.  We had an amazing photographer from Utah.  Go here to see a few of our shoots.  I love each one already.  I can't wait to see the rest!

Conference Weekend...

We spent the weekend in Utah for Conference. We have had a wonderful and busy weekend. Friday we stopped at our favorite restaurant (Maddox) for dinner on the way to North Ogden. We had a fun dinner with our little family and then enjoyed the rest of the evening with Greg's family. Saturday we started off the day watching Conference and the Solemn Assembly. What a neat experience, as we all raised our hands in support to President Monson. I will cherish this picture of Cannon.

After the morning session, my sisters, mom, and I shopped till we dropped. Our first stop was 25th street to some cute boutiques. It was so fun. We found a darling baby boutique and couldn't help ourselves from dressing up Crew for just one cute picture.
Then we hung out at Greg's parent's house the rest of the evening. We are thankful for the words that were spoken during Conference this weekend. What a fun weekend.

You Got A Friend In Me...

The first few months of Crew's life, the boys really didn't pay much attention to him.  Now Cannon has really taken a liking to him.  He loves to hold him, play with him, and talk to him.  I think Cannon has found his new best friend besides Colton.
