Colton's Birthday...

Colton was able to celebrate his birthday for a whole week. We were in Utah and he had a list of places and things he wanted to do...

-Park City

-Chuck-E-Cheese

-North Ogden Pool (2)

-Ogden Rodeo

On his actual birthday we met his cousins that were in town at the North Ogden pool. We swam, ate pizza, and had a blast. After swimming we went back to my Mom's house and had brownies and ice cream and sang happy birthday to Colton.

(I don't know how I didn't get a picture of Cannon at the pool...but yes he was there and his back is in the background of this picture)

When we got home, he had a friend birthday party. We had a BBQ at our house and then went to the Chukars game. The library called me the day before his birthday party and said Colton had entered a drawing to throw the first pitch at the Chukars game and his name was drawn out. He was so excited because they asked him to throw the 1st pitch the same night as his birthday party.

Park City...

While Greg was fishing in Alaska, my mother-in-law took us girls and kids to Park City for 2 nights. The kids had such a fun time with their cousins and doing all the fun things that Park City has to offer. Colton now says that his favorite vacation we have ever taken is Park City. Thanks Grandma for the fun time!

Greg's Fishing Trip to Alaska...

Greg was able to go to Alaska fishing with his Dad, brothers, brother-in-law, uncle, and 2 cousins. They had a wonderful time and Greg is already itching to plan another trip. I am even trying to learn to like fish since our freezer is now full of fresh fish from Alaska. I am glad Greg was able to go and make this memory with so many people that he loves!

Happy 8th Birthday Colton...

Wow...Has it really been 8 years. I am thankful that this boy is a member of our family. He brings such joy into our home. Colton is very strong headed. It is hard to talk him out of anything that he sets his mind to. He is a hard worker in all that he does. We are very proud of his hard work in 2nd grade this past year. His favorite subject was Math and he got 100% on all of his spelling tests except one the whole year. He is very motivated when it comes to anything that has to do with sports. Whatever sport he is playing is his favorite at the time. He practices hard and works to excel in all things. He tries hard to obey the commandments and gets sad when he does something wrong. He loves to learn more about the gospel. We are looking forward to his baptism next week. I realized he was growing up this year when he would turn on ESPN Sportscenter in the morning before school instead of cartoons. He is exactly like his Dad and most people call him a mini Greg. Colton is such a good brother and I love that Cannon is his best friend.

Colton we love you and hope you know how proud we are of you!

Here are some questions I had Colton answer for me...

Favorite Food: Steak

Favorite Color: Blue and Orange

Favorite Activity: Playing games with my 2 Grandmas

Favorite Sport: Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Soccer

Favorite TV Show: Wizards on Deck

Favorite Movie: Everybody's Hero

Favorite Thing To Do Outside: Play Sports

Favorite Restaurant: Maddox

Favorite Vacation: San Diego

Your Hero: My Dad

Crew...

Crew was quite the trooper the first part of the summer attending all his brothers' baseball games. We had games everyday, Monday-Thursday. Here are a couple cute pictures I was able to get of him enjoying the games.

Crew has loved to play outside this summer in the backyard. He especially loves the hose when it is turned on. The other thing he has really loves this summer is his otter pops/popsicles. DSC_0348.JPG

Summer Baseball for Cannon...

Cannon has loved playing summer baseball. He was lucky enough to play on a pitching machine team instead of playing another year of t-ball. He absolutely loved it. He even looked forward to every practice even if it was hot. He would get so excited packing his bag for the games and always wanted to be sure he had everything he needed (he took it very serious). He would have his mitt, his baseball gloves, his bat, and his water bottle. His favorite positions to play were catcher, pitcher, 1st base, and short stop. He played great and would love to get in the car after the game and analyze everything he did during the game. It is fun to watch him be so excited about baseball. For only being 5 years old, he really loves playing this sport.

Backyard Waterslide...

Everyday this summer, my boys have asked if I will set up the waterslide in the backyard. On this particular day, the boys didn't invite any friends over to play on the waterslide with them. I loved sitting on the patio watching my 3 boys play and interact together. We set up a little pool for Crew and put a little slide going into the pool. He loved it and was so excited each time he would go down the slide. These are the days I love to remember, as we create family memories.
