Denver...

We went to Denver over Labor Day weekend and had an awesome time. The boys absolutely loved being downtown in the city and experiencing public transportation, 2 Rockies Games, and Pirates Cove Water Park.

We went to 2 Rockies Baseball Games. The first game we sat just above the bullpen and had a great view of the whole field and the second game we sat just a few rows up from the field. We were able to watch the Rockies win both games we attended.

This was such a fun water park. The kids and Greg had an absolute blast. I was happy to sit in the shade and watch. The kids want to go back to Denver next summer just to spend a few days swimming here.

We took the boys to the Broncos stadium to look around and pick out some Denver gear.

Colton and Cannon loved riding the free bus that would take us up and down the 16th street mall. The bus stop was right outside the front of our hotel and the boys would love to cram in the bus like sardines and ride as long as we would let them.

They also loved the circular door at the hotel.

Colton and Cannon did drive us crazy whenever we had downtime at the hotel...they loved jumping from each bed and catching the football.

Cannon is 6...

DSC_0531.JPG

Cannon is the life of the party at our house. He is full of personality and loves to make everyone laugh. He has so much talent and we hope that he can put some determination behind it and really excel in many things. Cannon was so excited to start Kindergarten this year. He has absolutely loves school so far. One of his favorite things about school is recess and riding the bus. Cannon is such a good brother to Crew. He really tries to take care of him, especially when Mom is busy. Cannon loves to pray. His prayers are so long that often I have to try and help him end the prayer early so dinner doesn't get cold. We are so lucky to have this little guy in our home each day. We love you so much.

First Day of School...

Monday was the boys' first day of school. Cannon was so excited to go to school that all morning he was asking me if it was time yet. Colton was going to let me take him to school and then looked out the window at the bus stop and decided that since all his friends were already waiting at the bus that he would ride the bus. I was able to take Cannon for the first day and Crew and I were able to find Colton on the playground and find out how is morning went. The boys both loved the first day and I think this year will be great. Cannon came home yesterday and threw his backpack down and said "I still don't have homework." That boy is dying for homework. Crew walked around with a soft cooler that has a strap (as his backpack) and Cannon's shoes all day today. I think he already wants to go to school. Tonight was back to school night and it was fun to see the boys' classrooms and where they sit and visit with their teachers. Here is to a great 2009-2010 school year!
