Colton and Cannon were excited to start at their new school. However, I was a nervous wreck. It was one of the hardest things I had to do when I left them on the playground, not knowing anyone and having to start over making friends and learning the ropes of a new school. After school, they came out happy and had a great. They are doing well with the adjustment and I am very proud of them.

Colton's Best Buds...
I love this picture. Colton had such good friends in Idaho Falls. They helped shape him to who he is now. We miss them like crazy. We are thankful for the true friends they were to him. This day Greg said he would pay them to weed the garden. They were hard workers, but also knew how to have fun.

Our Summer Part 2
The second week of June, Greg was asked to take a promotional position for work with his current company. We were shocked because they didn't post the job for people to apply. The company decided who they would offer the position to. We were beyond excited that Greg was asked, but then we had to make one of the toughest decisions of our life. The territory would be different and if he took the job and we stayed in Idaho Falls he would only be home 4 nights a month. We knew we would need to move to Utah for this job to work for our family. The company didn't offer to move us because we were still technically living in the territory. We had lived in Idaho Falls for 11 years and this was home to us. Our kids were settled and thriving. They had wonderful friends, a great ward, and were involved in great sports teams. We prayed and fasted and prayed some more and finally decided that Greg would accept the job. We didn't know how long it would take to sell our house, but we felt at peace that all would work out.
We put our house up for sale by owner and sold our house in the first week. We felt so incredibly blessed and felt like Heavenly Father was giving us a little tender mercy for us to know that we had made the right decision for our family. We were excited at the opportunity to be closer to family, but we were scared to start over in a new area. We were worried about the kids adjusting to a new school, making new friends, and finding new sports teams.
Everything was a complete whirlwind. We spent the rest of the summer house hunting and packing. We felt so incredibly grateful to have such great friends in Idaho Falls help with kids while we were packing and also helped us pack. After looking at around 50 houses we decided that building would be best for our family. We are living in my parents basement and we are thankful that they are willing to let us stay here for 5 to 6 months. Saying goodbye to our friends in Idaho was so hard, however we know that they are lifetime friends. Idaho will always hold a very special place in our heart.
We are excited for what the future holds for us in Utah. We are looking forward to being settled in our own home and making lifetime memories here.

Our Summer....
Colton played in a travel baseball league this summer. We had no idea when he asked us if he could try out for the team how busy it would be if he made it. It was a ton of fun, but oh so busy. It was every week from Thursday to Saturday for 7 weeks straight. We met some great families and he was surrounded by some great kids. His baseball skills increased and he loved playing. He played second base, third base, and left field. We are sad that he won't be able to play with this team next year. We are hoping to find a great baseball team here in Utah in the Spring.

Vegas...
We decided last minute to go to Vegas over Memorial Day. We went with the "L" family and we had a blast. It was so nice to see and feel sun. We swam, sat in the sun, and relaxed for 3 days straight. It was perfect! (forgot my camera, so I only had iphone pictures)

Easter...
This year for Easter, Greg and I wanted to surprise the kids with a puppy. Some of their friends they spend a lot of time with got dogs for Christmas, so our kids thought it would be fun to become a dog family. We found the cutest puppy and picked him up on Saturday night at 10:30, so we could surprise the boys in the morning. They were so happy Sunday morning and spent the entire day with the puppy. Unfortunately Creed's skin seemed to be sensitive to the dog and he had a constant runny nose from the time he started touching the puppy. The owner was very nice and said she had someone else that would take the dog, so we returned the puppy on Tuesday night. The kids were devastated and so sad. We knew we could always get another dog, but wanted to figure out what was going on with Creed first. Creed is doing much better and hopefully he will outgrow his sensitivity to dogs and we will be able to get a dog in the near future.
Below are some not so great phone pictures

Taco Tuesday...
The kids love to go to Cafe Rio on Taco Tuesday. We try to go once a month and let the kids eat tacos till they feel sick.
Even though this photo is blurry and taken with my phone I had to share. Crew was just so happy with his chips and soda.

Spring Break...
We were able to spend spring break in Utah with my sister and her family and my parents. We kept busy and the kids had a blast. I didn't take any pictures, except for the day we went to the zoo. The kids were so happy to spend 4 hours outside enjoying the warm weather and the sunshine.

Arizona...
Greg and I got to sneak away for a weekend with a couple friends, and enjoy the sunny weather of Arizona. I was so happy to be in the sunshine after the long, cold Idaho winter. The boys watched 2 baseball games and 1 basketball game and the girls shopped. We would meet back up for dinner and enjoy the evenings together. It was the perfect little getaway, except it was way to short. I only took 1 picture and it was with my phone. (sniff sniff)

Pinewood Derby...
Colton gets so excited about Pinewood Derby for scouts. Luckily his Grandpa spent the weekend before the derby at our house, and was able to help him get his car all ready.

Crew...
Crew is able to go to the school district preschool this year and get extra help with his speech. He loves school and looks forward to the 2 days a week he gets to go. The only downfall of school is the bus comes to our house at 7:10 a.m. to pick him up. After school he is usually really tired, but fights taking a nap. This particular day I walked into the kitchen to check on him and found him like this.

Happy St. Patty's Day...
This was the first year the leprechaun came and visited our house the night of St. Patty's Day. The leprechaun flipped over furniture, turned the toilet water green, turned the milk green, and painted mustaches on the boys. We also had green pancakes for breakfast. The boys were excited in the morning to see what the sneaky little guy did to our house. The boys wanted to keep the mustaches on to go to school, so I let them. Cannon came home crying from school and said kids were making fun of him for believing in a leprechaun. I then told him it was Mom and Dad and he was so mad at me and I think a little sad. I finally was able to convince him that even if the leprechaun isn't real, it is still fun to do to celebrate the holiday.

RSV...
Poor Crew was struggling with a fever for a few days, so I finally decided to take him to the doctor to see if he had strep or an ear infection. He didn't have either of those, but he did test positive with RSV. My poor little guy felt miserable. Plus, he absolutely hated doing the breathing treatments. He is feeling better now thank goodness.

Cannon's Teeth...
Cannon's top tooth was holding on by a thread and we had to beg Cannon to let us pull it out...
You can see in this picture his other top tooth is so loose it is crooked. We begged him to let us pull it out, but I think he was done after getting the first one out. He would not let us touch his other tooth for a week. Finally the tooth fell out, and look how cute Cannon looks
He is still sporting this look almost 2 months later and I think it is the cutest!
Creed's First Haircut...
Creed waited the longest for his first hair cut out of all my boys. He is almost 15 months and just got his first haircut, and we didn't even cut that much off.
He sat really still and seemed to like it

Valentines Weekend...
My hubby and I got to sneak away from the kids for a night and go skiing over Valentines weekend. We were able to go with a few friends and it was a fun, relaxing weekend. Each day we are married I fall more in love with Greg. I only took one picture of our whole weekend and it was while we were driving to the ski resort.
