Colton and Cannon were excited to start at their new school. However, I was a nervous wreck. It was one of the hardest things I had to do when I left them on the playground, not knowing anyone and having to start over making friends and learning the ropes of a new school. After school, they came out happy and had a great. They are doing well with the adjustment and I am very proud of them.

Colton's Best Buds...
I love this picture. Colton had such good friends in Idaho Falls. They helped shape him to who he is now. We miss them like crazy. We are thankful for the true friends they were to him. This day Greg said he would pay them to weed the garden. They were hard workers, but also knew how to have fun.

Our Summer Part 2
The second week of June, Greg was asked to take a promotional position for work with his current company. We were shocked because they didn't post the job for people to apply. The company decided who they would offer the position to. We were beyond excited that Greg was asked, but then we had to make one of the toughest decisions of our life. The territory would be different and if he took the job and we stayed in Idaho Falls he would only be home 4 nights a month. We knew we would need to move to Utah for this job to work for our family. The company didn't offer to move us because we were still technically living in the territory. We had lived in Idaho Falls for 11 years and this was home to us. Our kids were settled and thriving. They had wonderful friends, a great ward, and were involved in great sports teams. We prayed and fasted and prayed some more and finally decided that Greg would accept the job. We didn't know how long it would take to sell our house, but we felt at peace that all would work out.
We put our house up for sale by owner and sold our house in the first week. We felt so incredibly blessed and felt like Heavenly Father was giving us a little tender mercy for us to know that we had made the right decision for our family. We were excited at the opportunity to be closer to family, but we were scared to start over in a new area. We were worried about the kids adjusting to a new school, making new friends, and finding new sports teams.
Everything was a complete whirlwind. We spent the rest of the summer house hunting and packing. We felt so incredibly grateful to have such great friends in Idaho Falls help with kids while we were packing and also helped us pack. After looking at around 50 houses we decided that building would be best for our family. We are living in my parents basement and we are thankful that they are willing to let us stay here for 5 to 6 months. Saying goodbye to our friends in Idaho was so hard, however we know that they are lifetime friends. Idaho will always hold a very special place in our heart.
We are excited for what the future holds for us in Utah. We are looking forward to being settled in our own home and making lifetime memories here.
