Spilled Milk...

Today was just one of those days.  I woke up early this morning to get Cannon to his 8:30 T-Ball game.  I woke up at 7:00 and looked outside to find a dusting of snow on the ground. Unable to go back to sleep because of my busy day, I slowly began my day.  I rushed to get myself a shower, my kids feed, Crew feed and bathed, wrote my RS agenda, and got to work making a salad for a RS luncheon.  Well, by the time 10:30 rolled around, I was just worn out. Probably because I didn't get much sleep the night before.  I was able to attend my RS meeting and luncheon and came home and put Crew down for a nap.  No, my older two boys were not ready to slow down at all.  They of course had to invite a friend over to play.  I did catch a 15 minute cat nap while they were happy playing down stairs.  Then they woke me up with whines of being hungry.  I poured some cereal and about 30 minutes later the entire bowl of cereal and milk was all over the kitchen floor.  I got the milk wiped up with paper towels, but the floor was so sticky I had to vacuum and mop the entire floor.  I had finally finished that chore and low and behold I walk into the kitchen to find Colton and Cannon on the counter looking into the microwave.  I asked what they were microwaving and they said, "An otterpop, we wanted to drink the juice."  I immediately stopped the microwave and the otterpop had exploded and just by opening the microwave, sticky juice was pouring out of my microwave slowly dripping down my kitchen cabinets.  I managed to get this mess cleaned up too.  I was really proud of myself because I really didn't get mad or yell, but it was hard not to.  Then Crew woke up from his nap and was coughing a lot and not feeling well.  Well the boys are finally down for the night and I am laying in bed.  Thank goodness I can go to sleep and wake up to a whole new day tomorrow.

Is that all you did yesterday? Ha ha!! Good job on the not yelling, how hard that must of been. I also love going to bed on days like that in hopes that the next day will refresh itself without the "spilled milk"

8:30 is way too early for a T-ball game. Whoever made that schedule must not be a parent! You are awesome!

Hopefully you can get a good nights rest in tonight. The otterpop story is actually very cute with them thinking to melt it. Here's to a great day tomorrow with no "spilled milk" or otterpop explosions!!
