Nights at the Lake...

We have spent many nights at the lake the last week and half and are loving every second of it.  My dad so graciously let us borrow his boat for the month of July and we are taking advantage of every free second we have to spend the evening on the lake.  The boys are slowly getting more comfortable and daring and  we hope to have them water skiing in no time.  We love to take dinner up and enjoy the quiet beauty of the surroundings.  Boating is something that Greg and I have always enjoyed.  Greg loves to water ski and I enjoy the sunshine and relaxing.  But, I did get up on the slalom ski on my first try since I had Cannon.  I haven't skied since I had Cannon for some reason.  I am really proud of myself.  Hopefully I can pick up right where I left off since I gave it up a few years ago.  Thanks Dad for letting us bring your boat home.  We have truly loved it.  Hopefully we can spend many more evenings on the lake before the end of July!

Looks like the DeVries family will be investing in a new boat!! The family looked real comfortable on the skies! Good job and lots of fun!! Wish the Maughan family was there to enjoy in the water and the wakeboard.

Some of my favorite memories with our family is when we have our boat out at Pineview or Flaming Gorge! I love boating as a family as well, that is so nice of your dad to let you borrow the boat! You guys will be buying one in no time....you get addicted!

Your pictures are so fun. I love the one of Greg in the air, I can't believe you got that on camera. It's nice to rediscover something you used to enjoy, but haven't done for a while.

oh, so much fun! Good for you Emily to get up on the slolem ski! I've still yet to master it. I've tried everything from dropping a ski to trying to start on one and I just can't get it down. Maybe next year you can show me some pointers sometime! LOL

This is a disclaimer for a comment that said it was posted by me.....anyone who knows me knows that I wouldn't be mean....so the real author, using my name was Brady....the real person doing a backflip on the wakeboard in the post....Greg is a great waterskier and Brady is a great wakeboarder....all cleared up I hope.
