Times I Can Treasure...

In this decade where technology is so accessible, it is so easy to hear of tragic and hard times that other people in this world face on a daily basis.  Trials are actually a hard thing because some people's trials are things that can't be hidden from the outside world, and other people's trials can be kept very private.  But, for everything I either hear and have to go through on my own, I am thankful for the chance I have to become a better person.  This past weekend, we had our own scare within our family.  I was able to see the close bonds that I have within my family.  All of my siblings and my parents were able to spend some quality family time together this weekend.  I cherish the time we all get to spend together.  It is not often enough because we all live in various parts of the United States.  I know that my family and friends supports me in all that I do.   I love you all and hope you know how much you mean to me and my own little family!

I hope everything will be ok. I am sure it will. You guys will be in our thoughts & prayers. But that's an interesting point about how trials can either be private or public--it's so true. Often times we have no idea what people are going through in their families.

Em,
I'm so glad you were all able to be at each others sides as well. I pray for a good outcome as well. I love you and everyone in your family! I know there is a reason for trials, but it kind of stinks when you're in the midst of them. Do love how it can bring so many together.

Love you always!!!!

Emily..I have learned first hand that when trials come into our lives, Heavenly Father also sends so many "tender mercies" to help us. It seems like you have already discovered some of them. You will be in my prayers.

Dear Em,
Thanks so much for you and Greg driving madly to Utah to support your dad and me. It was a treasured blessing in a terrible scary situation. I was thankful that each of you could be here and we ended up being to laugh and enjoy each other through an uncertain time. There really isn't anything more important in this earthly life than the gospel and our family. I know this without a doubt!!!
Love you so much!

Hope everything is ok. I agree with the "you never know what people are going through..." I always try to do my best to remember that. Whatever may be happening in your family, I hope is gets better.
