Happy Halloween....

We had a great time celebrating Halloween this year.  The weather was warm and beautiful and the kids didn't even have to wear coats over their costumes.  I don't remember the last time that happened.  It was different this year because Colton went out Trick-or-Treating with a friend, so it was Cannon, Crew, and me walking around the neighborhood together while Greg stayed home to hand out candy.  Greg sat outside in a lawn chair handing out candy enjoying the weather and atmosphere while we were gone.  Here are some highlights from the night...
-We went to a house trick-or-treating with 108 pumpkins carved in the yard and the people were wearing great scary costumes.
-Finding another house that had set up a spooky atmosphere for the kids.
-Seeing our friends dressed up at Batman and Robin walking their little girl around the neighborhood trick-or-treating. (I told Greg we need to dress up next year!)
-Homemade donuts
-Soup and Bread for dinner
-Seeing Crew dressed up for the first time and eating any type of candy he could get his hands on
-Walking door to door with neighbors and friends, visiting as we strolled along
-Having people we know come to our door trick-or-treating
-Spending time together as a family making memories.
-Seeing the excitement of the holiday through my children's eyes.

I love Crew's little face with that hat on. I also can't believe how amazing the weather was...no snow on Halloween! Yea! And glad you enjoyed the costumes. We are weird.

The boys look so cute! I love the pictures you took of Crew with his spider hat....he is so photogenic!! Cannon was costumed appropriately....racing and moving fast. Colton looks so cute too. Fun and nice night. I love all the things you listed that you loved about the evening....made me remember times when you were young in our old neighborhood.....remember when you thought you were old enough to go out on your own with your friends???? I didn't love that....but I certainly love you!

Loved all the pictures and I think Colton's costume looked familar. I think Dylan was a rodeo clown a few years back. Cannon's costume fit him perfect and I could just eat Crew up!! That spider hat and his cute smile melts my heart!! I love those boys!!

I thought that this was the best Halloween too. I think that the perfect weather had a lot to do with it. Your kiddos looked adorable. I still can't get over how sweet Crew looked as an itsy bitsy spider! What cuties... We had fun carving pumpkins with you guys, what a great week! Next year we are having a couples Halloween party, so you and Greg will have to dress up, no excuses!
