"Ghosts"
Tonight during family home evening, I asked Colton, Cannon, and Greg if they wanted to give me a present for Christmas. They all said yes, and then they asked me what I wanted. I said that I wanted the spirit to dwell within our home everyday and throughout the year. The funny thing is Cannon didn't really understand what I was talking about and started to cry and said that he didn't want the Holy Ghost living in our walls and watching him all the time. Then we told him the Holy Ghost is like having Jesus and Heavenly Father living with us all the time and how special that would make our home feel. He still didn't understand, and was still crying that a Ghost was going to be watching him and living in our house. I thought it was a really great FHE to do to go along with the holiday season. Huh, I guess I need to polish up my teaching skills.

that is sooo funny, kids' reactions to things can just catch you off guard sometimes. they can be so literal sometimes.
good luck!
oh my gosh what a funny story. it's a hard concept to grasp. so cute.
Oh, that is hilarious! I'm just sitting here giggling at Cannon and his wide eyed expression. Hopefully you won't have him creeping up the stairs late at night to jump in bed with you for fear of the 'ghost' in the walls. :) Too funny.
so funny.... oh your kids are cute! You're an awesome FHE giver!
That is so funny. Cannon is so cute!
This is so funny! We had a similar conversation with Kamry and she cried because the 'Holy Ghost' is way scary and she did not want him around all the time, hard to teach that a 'ghost' is good!! So cute!!
Love the picture of Cannon and dad. Tell Cannon the Holy Ghost is like a warm blanket that surrounds and comforts him.....he loves his blanket and he will then equate it with that and love the Holy Ghost. He is the funniest boy and I love him so much....miss each and every one of you! Can't wait to see you on Dec. 25th!
Too funny! I think that is exactly how Jaxon would react if I said the same thing. The have such a wild imagination at that age.
ha ha! poor guy!
Don't you just love it when your good intentions don't really work out the way you had hoped? KIDS!
TOO CUTE!!! Kids are so literal about everything!!! Love it!
Oh that is so funny, he'll think so later in life too!
