Cannon was brushing his teeth Wednesday night and saw scissors in the drawer by the toothbrushes. He came running out of the bathroom and said, "look Mom" pointing to the middle of his head. I said what did you do? He said I cut my hair because it was bugging me. I said in a really stern voice, "Don't ever do that again, now we are going to have to shave your head." He started screaming in a high pitch shrill voice and was freaking out. He was saying all sorts of weird stuff like the police were going to come get him and that he didn't want to be bald. He gets really upset when he thinks he is in trouble. I sat him on my lap and tried to calm him down. I told him I wasn't mad at him and that we just had to cut his hair short so it would blend in. He thought I was going to get a razor out and shave his head. He woke up Thursday morning still so upset at himself that he had cut his hair. If you look closely you can see the one snip he took in the middle of his head, right down to the scalp. I didn't really buzz his head because we have family pictures in 2 weeks, but when it is spiked up in the front you can't really see the part that he cut.

Haircut...

Didn't you cut your bangs to the scalp when you are little...like mother like son I guess!
Tell Cannon he is still so handsome and we have to do something about his great fear of the police......it is irrational. He is beautiful to me no matter what.
He does look mad. At least it was his own hair. When Rachel was 3 she cut her friends hair, really good....
Oh dear! I hope the family photos go well.
