I want to wish my Dad a very happy birthday. He is such a great person! Here are a few things I admire about him.
J-OKESTER-My dad can come up with some great one liners. It is so funny to hear some of his jokes. In fact he has been a Sunday school teacher in his ward for many many years and always starts out his lessons with a joke. Thanks Dad for always making me laugh.
O-UTLASTING/OUTSTANDING-My Dad can't outlast anyone. He is always the first one to bed. We joke that his bedtime is 7:30 but this really isn't a joke. If he stays up past 10:00 we are amazed. However, he outlasts everybody in the getting up in the morning department. He is up and going between 3:00-5:00 a.m. everyday. No wonder he goes to bed so early. Outstanding, my dad is really smart. He knows a lot about everything. One of my favorite memories is going to Disney World and having him play Who Want to Be a Millionaire. He did so good and went all the way to the million dollar question. He was also always able to help me with any type of homework growing up.
H-ONORABLE/HARDWORKING-He is very honest and honors his values. He has been a great example to me and has taught me that this is so important in life. Hardworking, I have never met anyone that works so hard. He never lets anything slide with his job. He makes sure everything is done right. He values a honest days work.
N-EVER SELFISH-My dad is the most giving person I have ever met. When it comes to money, he would give to anyone that is struggling. He has taught me that when you are blessed it helps to give to others. I really value this lesson that he has taught me and hope to carry this on with my own family.
I love you Dad. The boys love you so much too. Thanks for being you!
